About

Hello! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and Clinically Certified Trauma Professional, Level 2 (CCTP-II). I specialize in trauma-informed care and have a deep passion for supporting children, teens, and adults as they navigate life’s challenges. Whether it’s addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, or major life transitions, my goal is to provide a safe and compassionate space where healing and growth can flourish.

In addition to my counseling practice, I’ve completed an advanced 95-hour training in trauma-informed yoga for youth and am certified to teach to children and teens. I love incorporating creative and holistic approaches into therapy, including art, music, mindfulness, and yoga, to meet my clients’ unique needs.

When I’m not in the therapy room, you can find me exploring the outdoors, practicing yoga, and finding new ways to infuse creativity and mindfulness into everyday life. I love live music, baking, thrifting, crafting, and the occasional guilty pleasure of binge-watching trashy reality TV or scrolling TikTok. Most of all, I cherish quality time with my family.

I didn’t land in this field by accident! – My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by my own experiences with trauma and healing. I’ve been on the other side of therapy, working through my own challenges with the help of a therapist who truly understood. That’s why I’m passionate about being a therapist who “gets the struggle.” I know firsthand how important it is to feel seen and heard, and I’m deeply passionate about connecting with others. My goal is to provide a genuine, relational experience where you feel supported, understood, and never alone on your journey.

Growth is at the heart of what I do—not only for my clients but for myself, too. I’m constantly expanding my knowledge through specialized trainings like trauma-informed therapy and other evidence-based approaches. I also believe in sharing what I’ve learned. By offering psychoeducation and resources, I empower my clients to better understand their experiences and take an active role in their healing journey. Staying up-to-date with the latest in mental health care ensures I provide the best possible support for those who trust me with their growth.

When we are meeting with each other, you won’t be met with a stiff or overly formal atmosphere. I believe in being real and relatable. Whether I’m wearing comfy clothes or sharing my own experiences (only when it’s helpful), I want you to feel like you’re in a space where you can be your true self—because I am too. Authenticity builds trust, and trust is the foundation of any successful therapeutic relationship. Together, we will create a therapeutic environment that feels safe and welcoming. I believe the relationship we build together is the most important part of therapy, and it’s through that connection that true healing can begin to happen.
