Navigating Trauma Recovery: A Journey of Healing

Trauma can feel like a storm that’s impossible to navigate. The emotional and physical weight of these experiences can leave us feeling overwhelmed and disconnected. But here’s the good news: healing is possible. As a trauma-informed therapist, I work with children, teens, and young adults to guide them through their trauma recovery process with compassion, understanding, and proven strategies.

At Cloud 9 Wellness Co., I take a relational approach to healing, recognizing the power of connection in recovery. Together, we’ll focus on building trust and safety, so that you feel truly seen and heard. Relationships—whether with yourself or others—are at the heart of recovery, and repairing those connections can create a foundation for lasting change.

I also incorporate movement-based interventions, such as trauma-informed yoga, to help clients release emotions stored in the body and develop mindfulness skills. Combining these techniques with trauma-focused approaches like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), play therapy, and creative outlets like art and music, I help clients express their emotions, process difficult memories, and regain a sense of control in their lives.
